Water Heater Repair
No hot water, inconsistent temperature, pilot problems or a leak — we diagnose the problem and explain your repair options.
Water heater repair, diagnosed first.
Most water heater problems start the same way: the hot water runs out fast, comes and goes, or doesn’t show up at all. The first step is finding out why. We diagnose the problem at your home and explain what we found before recommending anything.
Not every water heater is worth repairing, and not every problem can be repaired. If a repair makes sense, we’ll quote it. If replacement is the better option, we’ll explain why and quote that instead. Either way, you decide.
No hot water troubleshooting
Call us if you’re dealing with:
- Completely cold water
- Inconsistent hot water
- Pilot light problems
- Water heater not heating
- Sudden loss of hot water
- Water around the base
Common water heater repairs
- Faulty heating elements on electric water heaters
- Thermostat problems causing water that’s too hot, too cold or inconsistent
- Burner and ignition problems on gas water heaters, including pilot and igniter issues
- Temperature inconsistencies from failing controls or components
- Leaking connections at supply lines, fittings and valves
- General performance issues, such as slow recovery or running out of hot water early
If you smell gas
Leave the house and call your gas utility or 911 from outside. Don’t try to relight a pilot or operate switches if you smell gas.
